Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
Groningen will be looking to build on back-to-back wins over Willem II and AZ Alkmaar when they host RKC Waalwijk at their Euroborg. The Green-White Army aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, and we are positive that they will go for a win in Saturday’s match. Even though talented attacker Mo El Hankouri misses the game through suspension, home win should be considered as Groningen have been in a splendid form of late.
RKC Waalwijk, on the other hand, have been showing signs of improvement of late, with the team beating both Twente and Venlo in the previous two league fixtures. Since the visitors have been impressive in front of goal of late, a high-scoring affair is on the cards. Over 2.5 goals have been netted in three of the previous four meetings between the two clubs.

Highlighted Player (Arjen Robben):

Arjen Robben is a professional footballer who started his senior career at Groningen. In 2002 he joined PSV and after making 56 league appearances for the Dutch outfit, the pacey winger signed a deal with Chelsea in 2004. The Dutch ace helped the Blues win two Premier League trophies (2004/2005, 2005/2006) and he scored 15 goals in 67 league appearances for the capital club.
Arjen Robben played for Real Madrid from 2007 to 2009 and he scored 11 goals in 50 appearances in La Liga. However, the club chiefs were not satisfied with his performances and they decided to sell him to Bayern Munich in 2009. Joining the Bundesliga giants was probably the best decision of his career as he has been winning titles with the German outfit year by year.
Robben clinched his fifth Bundesliga trophy with Bayern Munich in the 2015/2016 season and in 2013 he scored the winning goal for the Bavarians in the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund. The Bayern Munich star was born in Bedum, Netherlands on 23 January, 1984.
Highlighted Team (Waalwijk):

RKC Waalwijk is a Dutch club that competes in the Eredivisie. RKC returned to the Dutch top flight in the 2019/20 season, and they were more than fortunate not to suffer relegation back to Eerste Divisie. Fred Grim’s men were stuck at the bottom of the table when the season was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As a result, they did not drop to the Dutch second tier. RKC play home games at Mandemakers Stadion, the venue which can hold only 7,500 spectators. RKC Waalwijk are well known for their yellow shirts with blue strips, but their away kit is mainly black. The Mandemakers Stadion outfit have never won the national championship.
RKC, though, represented the Netherlands in European competitions in the past, with team taking part in Intertoto Cup on four occasions. Willem II are seen as one of the club’s main rivals, with the two teams facing each other in the Brabantse derby.
