All eyes will be on Abe Lenstra Stadion when Heerenveen and Ajax face each other in the Eredivisie round 28. Heerenveen failed to turn their dominance into goals in a draw with Twente, with the team remaining in the middle of the table. De Superfriezen aim to move closer to the Europa League berth, but seeing that Ajax do not suit them, home win should not be considered. USA teenager Ulysses Llanez is the home team’s long-term absentee.
The Amsterdammers, on the other hand, aim to move one step closer to defending their Eredivisie trophy. Since Serbia star Dusan Tadic continues to impress in the Dutch top flight, we believe that the reigning champions will extend their winning run to four games. Cameroon goalkeeper Onana remains on the sidelines through suspension, but January signing Sebastien Haller should be fit to face Heerenveen after recovering from coronavirus.

Erwin Mulder is an experienced Dutch footballer who plays for Heerenveen as a goalkeeper. Mulder spent his youth career at R.K.P.S.C, Vitesse Arnhem, and Feyenoord, and he continued playing for the Rotterdam club at senior level.
After making 120 appearances in the Eredivisie with Feyenoord, the 193-cm-tall shot-stopper signed for Heerenveen as a free agent in the summer of 2015. It has to be noted, though, that Erwin Mulder was loaned to Excelsior during his spell with Feyenoord. His next stop was Swansea City where he made 29 league appearances before returning to Heerenveen in 2020.
Erwin Mulder was born in Pannerden on March 3, 1989, and he has three caps with the Netherlands U20 team. He has yet to earn a call-up with the Oranje senior team. The Heerenveen goalkeeper was named in the Netherlands Euro 2012 provisional squad, but after the training with the national team, he failed to make the cut.

The likes of Johan Cruijff, Edwin van der Sar, Dennis Bergkamp, Patrick Kluivert, Rafael van der Vaart and Marco van Basten are all products of Ajax’s football academy. The Amsterdammers share a big rivalry with Feyenoord and there have always been fireworks when the two teams face each other in De Klassieker.

PSV and Ajax are regarded as big rivals as well and the two teams square off against each other in De Topper. The Amsterdammers won their fourth European Cup (Champions League) trophy in 1995, beating Milan in the title game in Vienna.
