All eyes will be on Abe Lenstra Stadium in what is expected to be an entertaining Eredivisie clash. Heerenveen did well to beat Cambuur 2-1 in their last league match, with the team moving closer to the Conference League berth. De Superfriezen aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, but they face a difficult task in the midweek clash. Experienced attacker Henk Veerman, who scored a brace at the weekend, will be the man to watch in the home team, while both Pawel Bochniewicz and Erwin Mulder are out of contention with injuries.
The Rotterdammers, on the other hand, aim to make amends for a heart-breaking loss to Ajax, and seeing that the title-chasing side will go for a win in Wednesday’s game as well, both teams to score betting option should be considered. Defender Denzel Hall should be the only absentee in the away team.

Erwin Mulder is an experienced Dutch footballer who plays for Heerenveen as a goalkeeper. Mulder spent his youth career at R.K.P.S.C, Vitesse Arnhem, and Feyenoord, and he continued playing for the Rotterdam club at senior level.
After making 120 appearances in the Eredivisie with Feyenoord, the 193-cm-tall shot-stopper signed for Heerenveen as a free agent in the summer of 2015. It has to be noted, though, that Erwin Mulder was loaned to Excelsior during his spell with Feyenoord. His next stop was Swansea City where he made 29 league appearances before returning to Heerenveen in 2020.
Erwin Mulder was born in Pannerden on March 3, 1989, and he has three caps with the Netherlands U20 team. He has yet to earn a call-up with the Oranje senior team. The Heerenveen goalkeeper was named in the Netherlands Euro 2012 provisional squad, but after the training with the national team, he failed to make the cut.

Back in 1908 football club Wilhemina was founded in the pub De Vereeniging and they played their home games in blue-sleeved red shirts and white shorts. The club’s name was changed to Hillesluise in 1909 and soon they became RVV Celeritas.

The club’s fiercest rivals are Ajax and the two teams face each other in der Klassieker. The likes of Craig Bellamy, Gerrard Fox, Wouter Bos and Raemon Sluiter are notable supporters of the club. It is well known that football legends Johan Cruyff, Ruud Gullit and Peter Houtman all played for Feyenoord in the past. De Trots van Zuid play their home games in red-white shirts and black shorts.
