Heracles will be aiming to make amends for a heavy 4-1 loss to Ajax when they face Nijmegen in the Eredivisie round 2 opener. Heracles did suffer the defeat on Matchday 1, but their performance against the Amsterdammers was anything but poor, with the team holding to a draw until 75th minute. Jizz Hornkamp limped off with injury on the stroke of half-time at the weekend, with Thomas Bruns likely to step up.
NEC, on the other hand, suffered a 4-3 loss to Excelsior in their opener and given their shaky defence, we believe that there is a big value in betting on John Lammers’ troops.
