Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
Asito Stadium will host Sunday’s Eredivisie game between Heracles and Twente, the two teams sitting in the opposite halves of the table. Heracles aim to escape the danger zone and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against Twente. Midfielder Jan Zamburek is pushing for a start, while both Nikolai Laursen and Sava Cestic remain on the sidelines with injuries. The Reds, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from a massive 6-2 loss to Feyenoord.
Heracles, though, suit Twente, which is probably the main reason why we are going to place our bets on the away team. Earlier this season Twente rolled over Heracles 5-0, which definitely supports our betting prediction. A man to watch in the away team will be midfielder Sem Steijn, who scored a brace in the last league match, while defender Gerald Alders continues to miss out with a knee problem.
Highlighted Team (Twente):
Based in the city of Enschede, Twente is a Dutch football club that welcomes their rivals at De Grolsch Veste. The venue was opened on May 10, 1998, and the capacity of the stadium is 30,205 people. The club was founded in 1965 as a merger of Sportsclub Enschede and Enschedese Boys.
The Reds did remarkably well to win the Eredivisie title in the 2009/10 season, with the team finishing the process only one point clear of Dutch giants Ajax. As a result, Twente booked their place in the Champions League group stages. The Reds did well to collect six points in their group, but that did not help them make it to the last 16.
Twente are well known for their red jerseys, but they wear dark blue shirts when playing on the travels. The Reds take on Heracles Almelo in the Twentse Derby. Sander Boshchker is leading Twente’s all-time goal-scoring chart with 653 goals on his account.
