Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
After defeating Twente on home soil at the weekend, Utrecht will be looking to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they take on Heracles at Erve Asito on Sunday afternoon. Utrecht have been climbing the standings week by week, and it has to be noted that they are undefeated in the 2020/21 Eredivisie campaign. John van den Brom’s troops are brimming with confidence ahead of the trip to Almelo, and they should take advantage of Heracles’ slow start to the season.
The Black and Whites have been playing below expectations of late, and seeing that the “Cathedral citizens” do not suit them, away win should be considered. You should bear in mind that Utrecht emerged triumphant in each of their previous five meetings in the Dutch top flight. Bart Ramselaar opened his goalscoring account in the 2-1 win over Twente, meaning that the opposition defenders should have him at bay.

Following his loan spell with the Yellow and Blacks, the 193-cm-tall shot-stopper moved to fellow German side Hansa Rostock, signing yet another loan deal. In 2018 he joined Dutch club Heracles Almelo, and he has been playing for the Heraclieden ever since. Janis Blaswich made his Eredivisie debut on August 11, 2018 in a 1-1 draw with Heracles, and he managed to keep his first clean sheet in the Dutch top flight the following month in a 4-0 win over De Graafschap.

Highlighted Team (Utrecht):

Established on July 1, 1970, Utrecht is a Dutch club that competes in the Eredivisie. The club was founded as a merger of VV DOS, USV Elinkwijk, and Velox, and it has to be noted that VV DOS did well to win the Eredivisie trophy back in 1958.
Utrecht, on the other hand, have yet to win the national championship, but they have lifted three KNVB Cup trophies (1984/85, 2002/03, 2003/04). Leo van Veen is leading the club’s all-time goal-scoring chart with 153 goals. Speaking of the club’s colours, they were white and red shirts when playing at home, while blue is the dominant colour of their away jersey.
Due to the hooligan clashes, Utrecht have a rivalry with Dutch giants Ajax. The games between the two clubs have always been very tense on the field. Utrecht welcome their rivals at Stadion Galgenwaard, the venue which can hold up to 23,750 people. The stadium was opened back in May 1936.
