Following a 2-2 draw with Utrecht, PSV will look to keep their title hopes alive when they take on Vitesse in the Eredivisie round 23. Ruud van Nistelrooy’s troops have been scoring goals for fun at home of late, and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. January signing Thorgan Hazard continues to miss out with a muscle problem, whereas both Ibrahim Sangare and Savio should return to contention.
The Reds, on the other hand, continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, and that is the main reason why we are going to bet on the home side. Both Michal Sadilek and Dimitrios Limnios are sidelined with injuries, while Wout Brama faces race against the clock to be fit for Sunday’s showdown. The tally of 39 goals in 76 league appearances earned him a transfer to Borussia Monchengladbach, but his spell in Germany ended in disappointment. Bundesliga club attempted to revive his career by sending him out on loan to Newcastle United but his stint with the English club yielded even more disappointment and concluded in utter disaster with De Jong playing 12 games without scoring a single goal for the Magpies.
A return to Netherlands and PSV Eindhoven turned out to be a proper hit for the 26-year-old striker who has restored his scoring touch with more than 50 goals for the Boeren after less than 90 games.
