Twente and RKC go head to head at De Grolsch Veste in the Eredivisie round 16. The Reds aim to build on a 2-1 win over G.A. Eagles, and they are eager to retain their spot in top seven. Twente recorded three wins in the previous four league fixtures, and, as a result, the bookies see them as favourites to pick up all three points from Sunday’s clash.
RKC, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over NEC, but seeing that they have yet to record a win on the road this season, we are tempted to put our money on the hosts. All Luca Everink, Kik Pierie, and Jody Lukoki should miss out with injuries for the hosts, while Yassin Oukili, Joel Pereira, and David Min have been struggling with injuries of late, speaking of the visiting team.

Born on November 16, 1996, Joel Drommel is a Dutch footballer who plays for Twente as a goalkeeper. Drommel played for IJsselmeervogels youth team when Twente scouts spotted him. The shot-stopper was immediately brought to Enschede, and he has been playing for the Reds ever since.
He made his Eredivisie debut in September 2015 in a 2-2 draw with Ajax. Joel Drommel has 18 appearances with Jong FC Twente as well. Speaking of his international career, the talented goalkeeper has four caps with the Netherlands U21 team. He represented the Oranje at the UEFA U21 Championship in Italy 2019, making two appearances at the tournament.
It has to be noted that Joel Drommel used to play as a midfielder before turning goalkeeper. His fother Piet-Jan Drommel was a footballer as well, playing for the like of AZ Alkmaar and SC Telstar during his career. Joel Drommel is 193cm tall.

RKC Waalwijk is a Dutch club that competes in the Eredivisie. RKC returned to the Dutch top flight in the 2019/20 season, and they were more than fortunate not to suffer relegation back to Eerste Divisie. Fred Grim’s men were stuck at the bottom of the table when the season was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As a result, they did not drop to the Dutch second tier. RKC play home games at Mandemakers Stadion, the venue which can hold only 7,500 spectators. RKC Waalwijk are well known for their yellow shirts with blue strips, but their away kit is mainly black. The Mandemakers Stadion outfit have never won the national championship.
RKC, though, represented the Netherlands in European competitions in the past, with team taking part in Intertoto Cup on four occasions. Willem II are seen as one of the club’s main rivals, with the two teams facing each other in the Brabantse derby.
