Our prediction for this Portugal League Cup match:
Benfica will be looking to make a flying start to their Taca da Liga campaign when they take on Estrela on Sunday evening. The Eagles are leading the chase for the Primeira Liga title, with the team beating Gil Vicente 3-1 in their last league match. All Goncalo Ramos, Joao Mario, Antonio Silva, Alexander Bah, and Nicolas Otamendi are on international duty, while both Julian Draxler and Morato should miss out with injuries.
The likes of Musa, Ristic, and Gilberto are pushing for a start. Estrela, on the other hand, are determined to secure promotion to the Portuguese top flight. Since the Liga Portugal 2 side are fully focused on securing a top-three finish in the league, anything but a routine away triumph would be a major surprise. In their last meeting at the venue Benfica rolled over Estrela 4-0.

Alex Grimaldo is a Spanish footballer who plays for Portuguese side Benfica as a left back. Born in Valencia on September 20, 1995, Grimaldo started his youth career at his hometown club FC Valencia, but in 2008 Barcelona scouts brought him to Camp Nou.
