Portimonense
After rolling over Vizela 6-1 at the weekend, Benfica will be aiming to retain top position when they take on Portimonense on Matchday 23. The Eagles are leading the chase for the Primeira Liga trophy, but it has to be noted that Sporting CP are still breathing down their neck with one game in hand. Angel Di Maria is widely expected to return to the starting XI, while Juan Bernat remains on the sidelines with a muscle injury.
O Portimao, on the other hand, have suffered six defeats in the previous seven away games in the Portuguese top flight and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Benfica’s party at Estadio da Luz. In the first half of the season Benfica defeated Portimonense 3-1, which goes in favour of our prediction. O Portimao midfielder Dener is a major doubt after limping off with injury in a 1-1 draw with Guimaraes.

Angel Di Maria is a professional footballer who played for Argentine side Rosario Central at the start of his senior career. After playing for Benfica between 2007 and 2010, the Argentine superstar signed for Real Madrid on 28 June, 2010 for a fee of €25 million + €11 million in bonuses.

In 2015 he moved to Paris Saint-Germain and he scored 10 goals in 29 league appearances for les Parisiens in the 2015/2016 Ligue 1 campaign. In 2014 he won the Champions League trophy with Real Madrid and that is considered the biggest success of his career. Angel Di Maria was born in Rosario on 14 February, 1988.

Based in Portimao, Portimonense is a Portuguese football club that play home games at Estadio Municipal in Algarve. The capacity of the stadium that was opened in 1937 is 9,544. Portimonense welcome their rivals in black and white shirts and black shirts, whilst yellow is dominant colour of their away kit.
