Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Benfica will be aiming to extend their winning run in the Primeira Liga when they host Portimonense at their Estadio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica on Wednesday evening. The Eagles are eager to regain top position in the standings and they are seen as hot favourites to win the midweek fixture. Portuguese midfielder Pizzi, who has netted six goals in the Primeira Liga so far this term, will be one of the men to watch in the home team.
You should bear in mind that Benfica are after their third consecutive clean sheet in the Portuguese top flight. Portimonense, on the other hand, made a very slow start to the season, with the team sitting just above the relegation zone in the Primeira Liga standings. The visitors face an uphill task in the midweek game and they are unlikely to spoil the Eagles’ party in Lisbon.
