Sparkles will be flying when Boavista and Braga lock horns at Estadio do Bessa Seculo XXI on Sunday evening. Boavista could not have wished for a better start to the season, with the team beating Casa Pia on the road thanks to Reisinho’s goal, but they will have a big fish to fry against the Reds. Barring any fresh injury concerns, Cristiano Bacci is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Casa Pia at the weekend.
Braga, meanwhile, dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with Estrela. As the visitors head into the match following the Europa League encounter with Servette, we do not believe that they are capable of grabbing more than one point from Sunday’s showdown. Defender Robson Bambu remains in the recovery room, but the 26-year-old Brazilian should be the only absentee in the away team.

Ricardo Horta is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Sporting Braga in Primeira Liga. Born in Sobreda, Portugal, on September 15, 1994, Ricardo Horta spent his youth career at Ginasio Corroios, Benfica, and Vitoria Setubal.
The 173-cm-tall winger continued playing for Setubal at the senior level, but he moved to Malaga in the summer of 2014, signing a five-year deal with the La Liga outfit. Ricardo Horta scored only one goal in 48 appearances for los Boquerones in the Spanish top flight before signing a loan deal with Braga. In July 2017, he signed a permanent contract with the Minhotos.
Ricardo Horta made his Primeira Liga debut against Rio Ave back in April 2013, during his spell with Vitoria Setubal. His primary position is left winger, but he is capable of producing good performances as a right winger as well. He made his Portugal debut in a 1-0 loss to Albania in the Euro 2016 qualifiers.

Founded on August 1, 1903, Boavista are a Portuguese club that welcome their rivals at Estadio do Bessa. The capacity of the venue is 28,263 and it was built back in 1911. As Panteras (The Panthers) are well known for their black and white shirts and white is the dominant colour of their away kit.
Famous Fellow city club Porto are considered Boavista’s main rivals and the two teams face each other in O Derby da Invicta and there have always been fireworks in clashes between the two local rivals. A Panteras did well to win their first and only Primeira Liga trophy in the 2000/2001 season, with the team finishing the campaign only one point clear of Porto.
