Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Ferreira and Moreirense go head to head at Estadio da Capital do Movel on day 27 of the current Primeira Liga campaign. Ferreira have been in a fine form of late, with the team winning three of their last four league fixtures, but they have little to play for in the remainder of the season. All Vigario, Ramos, and Silva have been struggling with injuries of late for the home team.
Moreirense, on the other hand, are desperate to escape the relegation zone. Since the visitors want this win more than the hosts, we are tempted to put our money on Ricardo Sa Pinto’s troops. There are no fresh selection worries in the away side. In the first half of the season the two sides played out a 1-1 draw at Parque Joaquim de Almeida Freitas.
Highlighted Player (Kevin Mirallas):
Kevin Mirallas is a Belgian footballer player born on 5th October 1987, who started showing his potential at a very young age. After coming through the youth ranks at Standard Liege, the forward moved to Lille in 2004 and he impressed playing for les Dogues, scoring 10 goals in 76 league appearances.
The move to Saint Etienne did not work out as planned, but a two-year stint at Olympiakos that followed helped the player get his career back on track. Having scored 34 goals in 52 league outings, Mirallas decided to join Everton and he enjoyed a bright start to his career in England. However, just like the entire team, the highly rated footballer suffered a serious dip in form and he has struggled for playing time over the last couple of years.
Mirallas has made over 50 appearances for the Belgium national team, representing the Red Devils at the 2014 World Cup and Eur0 2016 finals, scoring 9 goals in first 50 caps.
Highlighted Team (Moreirense):
Moreirense are a Portuguese football club based in Moreira de Conegos. Founded on November 1, 1938, Os verdes e brancos welcome their rivals at Parque Moreira de Conegos Guimaraes, the venue which can hold up to 9,000 spectators.
Moreirense wear green and white shirts and white shorts when playing at home, whilst black and red are the dominant colours of their away kit. In the 2016/2017 season Os verdes e brancos did well to win the Taca da Liga trophy, with the team beating Braga 1-0 in the title game.
Caue scored the winner for Moreirense on the stroke of half time. Moreirense impressed in the 2018/2019 Primeira Liga season, finishing the process in sixth position in the standings. The club missed out on a place in the Europa League on goal difference to Vitoria de Guimaraes. Penafiel are considered one of the club’s main rivals.
