Monday’s football game between Gil Vicente and Pacos Ferreira will bring down the curtain on day 1 of the new Primeira Liga campaign. Gil Vicente defeated Vizela 3-2 in pre-season, and we are positive that they will adopt yet another attack-minded approach against Pacos Ferreira. The Portuguese player continued playing for Freamunde at the senior level, and after scoring 18 goals in 120 appearances in the league for Os Capoes, he moved to Pacos Ferreira in 2016. Pedrinho played for Vila Mes on loan in 2013 as well, scoring five goals in 16 appearances in the league for the club.
His primary position is attacking midfield, but he is capable of producing excellent performances at both central and right midfield. Pedrinho has a contract with Pacos de Ferreira until June 30, 2020. In the 2018/2019 Primeira Liga season, the Portuguese midfielder scored one goal and provided five assists for his teammate. His preferred foot is right, and he wears the number 12 jersey.

Founded on April 5, 1950, Pacos de Ferreira are a Portuguese football club who play their home games at Estadio da Mata Real. The venue can hold up to 9,077 people and it was opened in October 7, 1973.
