Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Gil Vicente have been making progress week by week and will try to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they face Rio Ave. Galos have yet to find their best form in the new season, but they managed to keep a clean sheet in each of the last four encounters with Rio Ave. A close home win should be considered, but the hosts will have to prove their worth on the field. All Lucas Barros, Stanislav Kritsyuk and Murilo are sidelined with injuries for the home team.
Os Riovistas, on the other hand, showed some progress in a tight 3-2 loss to title contenders Braga at the weekend, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of upcoming fixtures. The guests have yet to record a win on the travels this term; therefore, we predict that the home side will pick up all three points from this match. Junio is sidelined with a long-term injury (broken leg), but he should be the only absentee in the visiting team.
