Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
High-flying Benfica will be aiming to extend their winning run in the Primeira Liga to twelve games when they take on Vitoria Guimaraes at Estadio Dom Afonso Henriques on Matchday 15. The Eagles did well to roll over Famalicao 4-0 in their last league fixture, but head coach Bruno Lage must warn his men against complacency. The league leaders aim to retain top position in the Primeira Liga standings, but the game against Guimaraes will be anything but a walk in the park for the visitors.
Portugal international Pizzi, who scored a brace in the 4-0 win over Famalicao, will be the man to watch in the away team. Ivo Vieira, on the other hand, is doing a great job with Os Vimaranenses, who have been scoring goals for fun in all competitions of late. Since the hosts are high on spirits ahead of Saturday’s match, we predict that they are going to put an end to Benfica’s 11-game winning run in the league. The good news for the hosts is that Andre should recover in time to face the Lisbon Eagles.

Born in Marco de Canaveses, Portugal, Rafa Soares is a professional footballer who plays for Vitoria Guimaraes as a left-back. Rafa is a product of the Porto football academy, but he did not see any game action in Primeira Liga with the Dragons.
After scoring eight goals in 61 appearances with Porto B, the Portuguese defender spent a couple of seasons on loan at Academica, Rio Ave, and Fulham. In 2018 he played for Portimonense, but nowadays, he wears the number 5 shirt at Vitoria Guimaraes. Rafa Soares has nine caps with the Portugal U21 team, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the Portugal senior team.
His primary position is left-back, but he is used as both left midfielder and left winger as well. Rafa’s preferred foot is left, and he has a contract with Vitoria Guimaraes until June 2021. Rafa Soares made his Primeira Liga debut against Academica back in January 2016, during his spell with Vitoria Setubal.
