Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Vitoria Guimaraes will be looking to extend their winning run in Primeira Liga to three games when they take on Maritimo on Matchday 16. Guimaraes have been showing signs of improvement at the start of the year, and it is no wonder bookies see them as favourites to win Sunday’s football match. Even though the likes of Agu, Amoah, and Mascarenhas are likely to miss the game with injuries, home win should be considered.
Maritimo, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 3-0 loss to Ferreira. O Maior das Ilhas are low on confidence ahead of Matchday 16, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Guimaraes’ party at Estadio D. Afonso Henriques. In their last meeting at the venue Guimaraes defeated Maritimo 1-0. Jean returns from suspension for the visitors, while Pinho has been tested positive for coronavirus.
Highlighted Player (Falaye Sacko):
Born in Bamako, Mali on May 1, 1995, Falaye Sacko is a pacey right-back, who plays for Vitoria Guimaraes in the Primeira Liga. Sacko has 11 caps with Mali, and he scored his first goal with the national team on June 16, 2019 in a friendly against Algeria.
Speaking of his club career, Sacko started his senior career at Djoliba, and in 2015 he joined Hungarian outfit Ujpest. After failing to see any game action in the Hungarian top flight, the Mali international moved to Vitoria Guimaraes in 2016. He first played for the Guimaraes B team, making his professional debut in the Segunda Liga clash against Atletico CP on February 17, 2016.
Falaye Sacko, who has established himself as a first-team regular at Vitoria Guimaraes, wears the No. 17 jersey. His primary position right-back, but he is used as a left-back as well.
