Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Moreirense and Rio Ave, the two teams who are almost level on points in the table, face each other at Parque Desportivo Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas on Friday evening. Moreirense restarted the season in style, with Filipe Soares’ goal helping them pick up all three points from the Boavista game. Ricardo Soares’ troops aim to rejoin the race for a place in European competitions, but the game against Rio Ave will be anything but a walk in the park for them.
Carlos Carvalhal’s men restarted the season with a 3-2 loss to Pacos de Ferreira, and, to make things even worse for the fans, full back Matheus Reis was sent off after 62 minutes. The Brazil international misses Friday’s football match through suspension, and given Moreirense’s performance in the 1-0 win over Boavista, home win should be considered.

Highlighted Player (Pedro Nuno ):

After spending his youth career at the likes of Buarcos, Naval, Benfica, and Academica, Pedro Nuno continued playing for the Briosa at the senior level. Pedro Nuno scored five goals in 25 appearances for Academica in the league, which persuaded Benfica chiefs to sign him on November 28, 2016.
The Portuguese midfielder, though, was immediately sent on loan to Tondela, where he scored four goals in 45 appearances for the club. In 2018 Pedro Nuno moved to Moreirense, and he has been playing for Os verdes e brancos ever since. He made his Primeira Liga debut with Moreirense on August 11, 2019, in a 3-1 away loss to Sporting Braga.
Pedro Nuno was born in Buarcos, Portugal, on January 13, 1995, and he wears the number 27 jersey at Moreirense. His primary position is left winger, but he is used as both second striker and attacking midfielder. Pedro Nuno has yet to make his debut with the Portugal senior team.
Highlighted Team (Rio Ave):

Nicknamed Rio Grande, Rio Ave are a Portuguese club that compete in Primeira Liga. Rio Ave were founded back in 1939 and they welcome their rivals at Estadio dos Arcos, the stadium which can hold up to 12,815 people.
The team’s home shirt is green with white stripes, whilst the colour of their shorts is green. Rio Ave wear white shirts and white shorts when playing on the travels. The club’s biggest success came in the 2014/2015 season when they represented Portugal in the Europa League group stages. Rio Ave finished the process in the last position in Group J, but they did well to record their first ever win in the competition, with the team beating Danish club Aalborg 2-0 at their Estadio do Rio Ave Futebol Clube.
Former Real Madrid full-back Fabio Coentrao is considered one of the club’s most notable footballers. Manchester City first-choice goalkeeper Ederson played for Rio Ave in the past as well.
