Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Nacional will be looking to put an end to their five-game winless run in all competitions when they host Famalicao at their Estadio de Madeira. Nacional did well to hold Benfica to a draw in their last league match, and, no doubt, they are high on spirits ahead of the visit of Famalicao. Coaching duo Carlos Simoes – Luis Freire should have a full squad to choose from. Joao Pedro Sousa’s troops, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Vitoria Guimaraes.
Famalicao impressed in the 2019/20 Primeira Liga season, but they have not been as impressive in the new campaign, with the team sitting in 15th position in the standings ahead of the trip to Madeira. Anyhow, given Nacional’s display in the 1-1 draw with Benfica, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the home team.
Highlighted Player (Riccardo Piscitelli ):
Born in Vimercate, Italy on October 10, 1993, Riccardo Piscitelli is a goalkeeper who plays for Nacional in Primeira Liga. Piscitelli started his youth career at Serie A giants Milan, but he was not given a chance to play for the senior team.
As a result, he was sent on loan to Carrarese where he made 23 appearances in the league. The Italian shot-stopper played for the likes of Benevento, Carpi, and Dinamo Bucuresti as well before joining Nacional in 2020. Riccardo Piscitelli has three caps with the Italy U20 team, but he has yet to make his debut with the senior team.
His preferred foot is left, and he has a contract with Nacional until July 24, 2020. The 189-cm-tall has yet to establish himself as a first-choice goalkeeper at Nacional as he has been in Daniel’s shadow. His preferred foot is left.
