Nacional will try to claim a major scalp in the Primeira Liga round 3 as they welcome Sporting CP to their Estadio da Madeira. Os Bolsilludos have yet to record a win in the new season, yet they can take satisfaction from earning a point in Saturday’s meeting with the reigning champions. Defender Ulisses serves a one-game ban following his sending-off in a 1-1 draw with Rio Ave, while there are no fresh injury concerns in the home team.
The reigning champions, on the other hand, continue where they left last term. New Arsenal striker Victor Gyokeres was not missed at all in back-to-back wins over Casa Pia (2-0) and Arouca (6-0), with his replacement Luis Suarez already starting to pay off. As the Lions have already found their best form in the new Primeira Liga campaign, we predict that they are going to emerge triumphant in Saturday’s encounter. Rui Borges is unlikely to make changes to the team that rolled over Arouca at the weekend.
