Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Portimonense will be looking to bounce back from a 2-0 loss to Sporting CP when they take on Maritimo in the Primeira Liga round 21. Portimonense are only one point clear of the relegation zone, meaning that Sunday’s game is of big importance for them. Considering that Maritimo have been totally out of form in the second half of the season, home win should be considered. It has to be noted, though, that Ewerton has joined Lucas and Sa in the recovery room.
The rock-bottom side, on the other hand, are running down a blind alley. Maritimo are on a six-game losing run in the Portuguese top flight, and seeing that Portimonense are desperate to give fans some cheer, we are tempted to put our money on Paulo Sergio’s troops. In the first half of the season Portimonense defeated Maritimo at Estadio dos Barreiros.
