Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Rio Ave and Moreirense, the two mid-table sides, face each other at Estadio do Rio Ave Futebol Clube in what is expected to be a very close encounter. Rio Ave failed to find the net in previous two league fixtures against Porto (0-1) and Pacos de Ferreira (0-0), but it seems as if their performances are better than their results. The Riovistas are eager to return to winning ways in the Portuguese top flight, but you should bear in mind that they failed to win previous three home games in the national championship.
Moreirense, on the other hand, are on a four-game winless run in the Primeira Liga, with the team dropping to the bottom half of the standings. However, since Rio Ave have been struggling in front of goal of late, we predict that the visitors are going to grab something from the midweek fixture.
