Our prediction for this Premier League match:
All eyes will be on Emirates Stadium when Arsenal and Manchester United face each other in the Premier League derby. The Gunners did well to get their revenge on the FA Cup loss to Southampton, with the team beating the Saints in the Premier League on Tuesday evening. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang remains out of contention through personal reasons, while Dani Ceballos and Kieran Tierney should recover in time to face the Red Devils.
Man Utd, on the other hand, suffered a shocking 2-1 loss to Sheffield United in midweek, and given Arsenal’s current form, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the capital club. Tuanzebe will drop to the bench, with Lindelof likely to step up. The likes of Williams, Jones, and Rojo remain in the recovery room. In the first half of the season Arsenal defeated Manchester United at Old Trafford thanks to Aubameyang’s goal.
Highlighted Player (Mesut Ozil):
Mesut Ozil gained international recognition at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The attacking midfielder impressed with Germany at the showpiece tournament and, as a result, Real Madrid chiefs decided to sign him.
Ozil won the 2011/2012 La Liga trophy with los Blancos and, against all odds, the club bosses decided to sell him to Arsenal at the end of the 2012/2013 campaign. The Turkish-born player scored 19 goals for Real Madrid in 105 appearances for the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu outfit.
On the other hand, Mesut Ozil has yet to win the Premier League with Arsenal, but he helped North London club lift two FA Cup titles (2013/2014, 2014/2015). In 2014 Ozil lifted the FIFA World Cup trophy with Germany and, no doubt, that is regarded as the biggest success of his career. The German international used to play for Werder Bremen and Schalke 04 in the past as well.
Highlighted Team (Manchester United):
Over the years Manchester United have established themselves as one of the greatest clubs in world football. The Red Devils have won three European Cup (Champions League) trophies and they have clinched no less than 20 Premier League titles.
A number of top-class players were part of Manchester United in the past, but, no doubt, the club’s biggest legend is coach Sir Alex Ferguson, who was in charge of the team for 26 years. During Alex Ferguson’s spell at Old Trafford the club won a number of trophies, but the Red Devils have been struggling in all competitions ever since he retired. Louis van Gaal helped Manchester United win the FA Cup trophy in the 2015/2016 season, with Jese Lingard scoring the winner in the 2-1 triumph over Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium.
The likes of Bobby Charlton, Paul Scholes, Roy Keane, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, George Best and Eric Cantona are the football stars that graced Old Trafford for Manchester United.
