Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Amex Stadium will host Sunday’s football game between Brighton and Aston Villa. The Seagulls do not seem to be at their sharpest, with the team losing three of their last four league matches. As a result, the bookies see them as underdogs in the round 36 clash. Both Julio Enciso and Danny Welbeck are pushing for a start, while all Pervis Estupinan, Tariq Lamptey, Evan Ferguson, Jack Hinshelwood, and James Milner remain in the recovery room.
The Villans, meanwhile, dropped two points in a 2-2 draw with Chelsea at the weekend, but they are still with one foot in the Champions League. Unai Emery’s men head into Sunday’s clash following the Conference League clash with Olympiacos, which is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on draw. All Alex Moreno, Nicolo Zaniolo, Jacob Ramsey, and Tyrone Mings remain in the recovery room, while first-choice goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez should be fit for the match.
Highlighted Player (Diego Carlos):
Diego Carlos Santos Silva is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Nantes as a defender. His main position is centre-back and his preferred foot is right. Diego Carlos began his youth career at America-SP and in 2010 he moved to Desportivo Brasil. After spending the 2012/2013 season on loan at Sao Paulo, the 185-cm-tall defender returned to Desportivo Brasil.
However, he made his first-team debut with Madureira during his spell with the club (2014). In 2014 Diego Carlos signed a contract with Portuguese club Estoril Praia and he scored two goals in 39 appearances for the Primeira Liga club. It has to be noted, though, that he played for Porto B (on loan) in the 2014/2015 season.
Diego Carlos moved to French club Nantes in the summer of 2016 and you should bear in mind that he quickly established himself as a first-team regular with les Canaris. The Brazilian footballer scored two goals in 34 appearances for Nantes in the 2016/2017 Ligue 1 campaign. His contract with the Ligue 1 side expires on June 20, 2021.
Highlighted Team (Brighton):
Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club were formed in 1901. The Seagulls welcome their opponents at Falmer Stadium and the capacity of Brighton’s home ground is 30,750. The stadium was built in 2008 and it was opened in 2011. The venue is known for commercial purposes as American Express Community Stadium.
Brighton & Hove Albion compete in the Premier League and they play in blue and white stripes. The colour of Brighton’s away kit is green. The club made it to the FA Cup final in 1983, but English giants Manchester United proved to be a big catch for the Red Devils.
Brighton’s main rivals are Crystal Palace and the Seagulls have recorded 35 wins over the Eagles. Frank Stapleton, Martin Chivers, Joe Corrigan, Bobby Zamora, Mark Lawrenson, Bobby Smith, John Crumplin and Frank Worthington are notable footballers who played for Brighton in the past. The Albion is Preston’s yet another nickname.
