Buoyed by a 4-0 win over Southampton, Chelsea will look to stay in the Champions League race when they take on Leicester City in yet another home fixture. The Blues faced no difficulties against the Saints and they are seen as hot favourites to win Sunday’s clash as well. In Nicolas Jackson’s absence, Christopher Nkunku should be deployed up front as a lone centre-forward. The likes of Madueke, Lavia, Guiu, and Badiashile miss out with injuries as well.
The Foxes, on the other hand, are seen as one of the main candidates for relegation. Leicester City are on a four-game losing run on the road and with Chelsea being a real force to be reckoned with at home, anything but a routine home triumph would be a big surprise. Both Abdul Fatawu and Ricardo Pereira are out of contention with injuries for the visiting side.

Spending his early career playing no-league football, Jamie Vardy made the headlines when he joined Leicester City in a £1 million deal in 2012, but little did he know that he would go on to become a genuine Premier League star just three years later.
The experienced forward helped the Foxes gain promotion to the elite division and then score more than 20 goals as they mounted an unlikely title bid, earning worldwide acclaim as well as a place in the England squad. Vardy went on to score his first two goals for the Three Lions in March 2016 friendlies, with his back-heel goal against Germany in Berlin seeing him instantly become a fans’ favourite.
Over the years, Vardy has earned a reputation as a striker who never gives up and can be a real menace for opposition defenders, but his excellent goalscoring record and good link-up play are enough to suggest he can be described as a mix of old-style pacey forwards and modern strikers.

Over the years Chelsea have established themselves as one of the dominant forces in the English Premier League. Roberto Di Matteo helped the team win their first ever Champions League trophy (2011/2012), but it has to be noted that they were more than fortunate to beat Bayern Munich in the title game.
Chelsea have been playing at Stamford Bridge since 1876 and they are a real force to be reckoned with at home. The Blues have won seven FA Cups, five League Cups, two UEFA Cup Winners’ Cups and the UEFA Europa League. Rafael Benitez was in charge of the team that faced Benfica in the 2012/2013 Europa League final, with Branislav Ivanovic scoring the winner for the Blues in the title clash.
After lifting the 2014/2015 Premier League trophy, the Blues largely struggled in the next campaign, which saw Jose Mourinho’s second spell with the club come to an end, and Antoine Conte went over to take the reigns for the 2016/2017 season.
