Following a thrilling win in the Manchester derby, Man City eliminated Sporting CP in the Champions League last 16 to give fans yet another reason for celebration. Pep Guardiola’s men want to win everything, and seeing that Liverpool are still breathing down their neck, Monday’s clash against Crystal Palace is of big importance for the league leaders. In-form midfielder Kevin de Bruyne will be the man to watch in the away side, while Ruben Dias misses out with a hamstring problem.
Joao Cancelo should be fit for the match, while fellow defender Nathan Ake is a major doubt. The Eagles, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-0 win over Wolverhampton, but they will have a mountain to climb on Matchday 29. Since Palace were beaten by Man City in each of their last three meetings in London, away win should be considered. Both Nathan Ferguson and Joel Ward remain in the recovery room for the hosts.

An imposing physical presence at his 192cm, Mateta is a mobile forward and a decent dribbler who can finish with both of his feet.
