West Ham
Selhurst Park will host Sunday’s local derby between Crystal Palace and West Ham United. The Eagles claimed a major scalp at the weekend, with the team beating Liverpool at Anfield thanks to Eberechi Eze’s goal and they must be brimming with confidence ahead of the visit of West Ham. All Chris Richards, Sam Johnstone, Marc Guehi, Rob Holding, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, and Nathan Ferguson are sidelined with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
The Hammers, on the other hand, head into the London derby following the Europa League clash with Bayer Leverkusen, meaning that tired legs should prove to be a big problem for the visiting side. Given Palace’s fine display in the triumph over Jurgen Klopp’s troops, home win should definitely be considered. Kalvin Phillips is a major doubt, while Jarrod Bowen remains in the recovery room. Eberechi Eze is a talented football player who was born in Greenwich, England on June 29, 1998. Eze started his youth career at Millwall and in the summer of 2016 he moved to Queens Park Rangers, signing a one-year contract with the capital club.
Eze scored 4 goals in 42 appearances for the Hoops in the 2018/2019 Championship campaign, while providing 4 assists for his teammates.His main position is attacking midfield, but he is capable of playing as both right and left midfielder as well. Eze is a footballer of Nigerian descent, but he has yet to make his debut for the Super Eagles in international matches.
Given his place of birth, the 173-cm tall midfielder was eligible to play for the England U20 team and he made his debut for the Three Lions on October 11, 2018 in a 2-1 victory over Italy. His preferred foot is right.
