Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Manchester United will look to build on a 2-1 win over Chelsea when they take on Bournemouth in the Premier League round 16. The Red Devils are eyeing their third consecutive win at home ground, but Saturday’s clash will be anything but a walk in the park for the home side. All Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, and Tyrell Malacia remain in the recovery room, while this game comes too early for former Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.
The Cherries, on the other hand, have been in a fine form of late, with the team beating the likes of Newcastle, Sheffield United, and Crystal Palace, while sharing the spoils with Aston Villa. As Man Utd are still without several first-team regulars, we are tempted to put our money on draw. The likes of Lloyd, Darren Randolph, Max Aarons, Alex Scott, Emiliano Marcondes, and Ryan Fredericks remain on the sidelines with injuries.
Highlighted Player (Bruno Fernandes):
Bruno Fernandes is a Portuguese footballer who used to play for Novara before joining Udinese in a co-ownership deal in the summer of 2013. The Portuguese midfielder scored his first goal for the club in a 3-3 draw with Napoli on 7 December, 2013.
Three years later he signed a deal with Sampdoria for a fee of €7 million. Fernandes moved to Sampdoria in order to replace Roberto who reinforced Villarreal. Soriano He played 33 games for the Zebrette in the 2015/2016 Serie A campaign, scoring three goals for the club, while providing four assists for his teammates.
Fernandes is a central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as a secondary striker as well. He was born in Maia, Portugal on 8 September, 1994 and he began his youth career at Infesta. Fernandes has seven caps for Portugal U21 team and he has played 4 matches for the U23 team.
Highlighted Team (Bournemouth):
Bournemouth are a professional football club that was formed back in 1890. The Cherries secured promotion to the Premier League in the 2015/2016 season, with the team making it to the English top flight for the first time ever.
Bournemouth play their home games at Dean Court and the capacity of the stadium is 11,469.
The Cherries enjoyed a very successful season on their Premier League debut, with the team beating the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United in the national championship. Glenn Murray scored the winner for Bournemouth in the 1-0 win over the capital club at Stamford Bridge and that is probably the greatest victory in the club’s history.
Bournemouth have been participating in the FA Cup since 1913, but they have yet to win the trophy in the prestigious competition. It has to be noted that the club’s original name Boscombe Athletic Football Club was changed to Bournemouth back in 1923 as the club owners wanted the Cherries to be more representative of the district.
