Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Saturday’s football game at Bramall Lane pits together Sheffield United and Everton, the two teams who are eyeing their first triumph of the season. The Blades are eager to put an end to their three-match losing run and we are positive that they will leave their hearts on the field. Ben Osborn has joined the likes of Max Lowe, John Fleck, Daniel Jebbison, and Rhian Brewster in the recovery room, while Jayden Bogle is pushing for a start after scoring the equalizer in a 2-1 loss to Manchester City at the weekend.
The Toffees suffered a defeat in each of their first three league games of the season as well. Considering that Everton will not have a better chance than this to score their first goal of the process, both teams to score betting option should be considered. The likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Dwight McNeil, Dele Alli, Seamus Coleman, and Alex Iwobi are injured for the visiting side.
Highlighted Player (Abdoulaye Doucouré):
French international midfielder Abdoulaye Doucour is a bundle of raw energy and a player who was voted Watford’s Player of the Season during the 2017/18 campaign. A deep-lying midfielder who takes part in play build-up from behind is a defensive asset who took time to blossom and announce himself at the international stage. He first burst to prominence at Ligue 1 side Rennes in 2012 after a year with the club’s B side and went on to play 75 league matches and score 12 goals.
Watford bought Doucoure in 2016 but sent him on loan to Granada, where he took part in 15 league matches. Determined to prove his worth in the Premier League, the Frenchman of Mali descent wasted no time in grabbing a starting spot under both Marco Silva and Javi Garcia, respectively, upon his return from Spain.
The total of 38 matches played along with 8 goals scored made Doucoure one of the most sought-after assets in the summer of 2018 but the player remained at Vicarage Road despite reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
Highlighted Team (Sheffield United):
Sheffield United are a professional football club that compete in the Championship. The Blades finished the 2016/2017 League One campaign in top position in the standings, with the team collecting exactly 100 points in the process. Sheffield United last competed in the Premier League in the 2006/2007 season and they were more than unfortunate not to secure the top flight survival.
The Blades finished the season in 18th place in the process and it has to be noted that they were level on points with Wigan Athletic, who managed to avoid the relegation to the English second tier. Sheffield United welcome their rivals at Bramal Lane, the stadium which was opened on April 30, 1855. The current capacity of the venue is 32.702.
The club have numerous rivalries, but the most notable one is the rivalry with their city neighbors Sheffield Wednesday. The two teams face each other in the Steel City derby and it has to be noted that United share rivalry with the likes of Barnsley, Rotherham United, Doncaster Rovers and Leeds United as well.
