Our prediction for this Premier League match:
There will be fireworks when Tottenham and Crystal Palace face each other in the local derby on Matchday 19. Following three consecutive league wins, Spurs shared the spoils with Liverpool in their last league match, and, no doubt, they are high on spirits ahead of the London derby. Harry Kane finally broke the deadlock at the weekend, and given Spurs’ form in December, we believe that home win should be considered.
Defender Cristian Romero remains in the recovery room, but he should be the only absentee in the home side. The Eagles, on the other hand, played out a 2-2 draw with Southampton in their last league match. Palace, though, produce much better showings at home than on the travels, and that is the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on Antonio Conte’s troops. Both Nathan Ferguson and James McArthur continue to miss out for the visiting side.
Highlighted Player (Harry Kane):
Widely regarded as one of England’s best strikers at the moment, Harry Kane enjoyed a meteoric rise at Tottenham Hotspur, scoring 21 Premier League goals during the 2014/2015 campaign to be voted PFA Young Player of the Year.
The highly rated striker went on to surpass that achievement the following season as he helped Tottenham Hotspur mount a serious title challenge for the first time in club’s recent history and he made seamless transition to international football. Kane scored four goals in his first ten appearances for England to prove he was here to stay and at the same time established himself as a first choice striker in Roy Hodgson’s squad ahead of the Euro 2016 finals.
Kane is a modern striker, who is extremely dangerous in the opposition box, but it was some outstanding goals from distance as well as link-up play with teammates that earned him an excellent reputation in world football. Kane is expected to lead both Tottenham and England in years to come, that is if he can resist the lure of top European clubs that continue to cast admiring glances his way.
Highlighted Team (Crystal Palace):
Crystal Palace Football Club is an English football club which was founded in 1905. The original headquarters of Crystal Palace was based in Sydenham. After being forced to move in 1915 the club settled in Selhurst Park which currently holds a capacity of 27 000 seats. The club Crystal Palace was named after a building which was placed on the Sydenham.
The club colors of Crystal Palace are blue and red. The supporters of Crystal Palace call their team the Eagles or the Glaziers. Crystal Palace is one of the many clubs from London. Crystal Palace never managed to win any trophy in any English football division. The best performance of Crystal Palace was in 2014/2015 where the club managed to end 10th in the Premier League.
