Our prediction for this Premier League match:
All eyes will be on Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when Tottenham and Man City go head to head in a highly-anticipated Premier League game. The Citizens are two wins away from defending their trophy, but Tuesday’s postponed match will be anything but a walk in the park for Pep Guardiola’s troops. Barring any fresh injury worries, Guardiola is unlikely to make changes to the team that hammered Fulham 4-0 at the weekend. Nathan Ake should recover in time to face Spurs.
Ange Postecoglou’s men, on the other hand, came from behind to beat Burnley 2-1 on Saturday, with the team keeping their Champions League hopes alive. Even though Tottenham are eager to stay in to move closer to Aston Villa in the Premier League standings, we are tempted to put our money on the title hopefuls, who look unstoppable at the moment. Brazil forward Richarlison is a major doubt, while all Davies, Udogie, Werner, and Sessegnon remain in the recovery room.
Highlighted Player (Heung-min Son):
Over the years Son Heung-Min has established himself as one of the best Asian footballers. Son is a Tottenham Hotspur first-team regular and he played a very important role in Mauro Pochettino’s team in the 2017/2018 Premier League campaign, scoring 12 goals, while making 37 appearances in the process.
The South Korean footballer, who is well known for his speed and a very powerful shot, was born in Chuncheo on 8 July 1992 and he began his youth career at FC Seoul. In 2008 he moved to Hamburger SV, but he made his senior debut for the Bundesliga club two years later. In 2013 he signed a deal with fellow German side Bayer Leverkusen and he scored 21 goals in 62 appearances in the Bundesliga for the BayArena outfit.
In 2015 he signed a five-year contract with Spurs for a fee of £22 million. Son Heung-min made his South Korea debut in a friendly against Syria in 2010.
Highlighted Team (Man City):
Manchester City are the lest famous of the two major clubs based in Manchester. The club was founded in 1880, but they have been struggling in the English Premier League in the past. Nonetheless, ever since the club was purchased by Abu Dhabi United Group in 2008, the Citizens have been playing an important role in the English top flight.
Manchester City won two Premier League trophies under Roberto Mancini and Manuel Pellegrini (2011/2012 and 2013/2014), but both managers eventually paid the price for some disappointing results. Man City play their home games at the Etihad Stadium and the stadium capacity is 55,097.
Manchester United are regarded as Manchester City’s biggest rivals and the likes of Kun Aguero, Carlos Tevez, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Uwe Rosler, Yaya Toure, Sylvain Distin are some of the most remarkable players that played for the Etihad Stadium outfit. Manchester City have won four Premier League titles and five FA Cup trophies and it has to be noted that they made it to the Champions League semis in the 2015/2016 season.
