Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Espanyol will be looking to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Osasuna when they face Elche in the Primera Division round 11. Los Periquitos have yet to find their best form in the new La Liga campaign, but it seems as if they will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways. The Catalan outfit defeated Real Valladolid in their last home fixture, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of Sunday’s showdown.
Adria Pedrosa is sidelined with injury, while fellow defender Ruben Sanchez is a major doubt. Los Franjiverdes, on the other hand, are stuck at the bottom with only three points in their pocket, with the team still eyeing their first triumph of the process. Since the rock-bottom side experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-0 loss to Real Madrid, home win should be considered. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team.
