Granada
Getafe play host to Granada at their Coliseum Alfonso Perez in what is expected to be a close La Liga game. Los Azulones aim to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Sevilla, with the team eyeing their fifth home win of the process. Both Jose Juan Macias and Sabit Abdulai are sidelined with injuries, while both Arambarri and Olivera are back from suspension. Anyhow, home win should be considered as Getafe are eager to escape the danger zone.
Los Granadinos, on the other hand, did well to hold Barcelona to a 1-1 draw in their last league match. Granada are undefeated in the previous seven league fixtures, but seeing that Getafe are a real force to be reckoned with at home, los Azulones are likely to put an end to this positive trend. Santiago Arias remains on the sidelines with injury for the visiting side.

A central defender who can equally be deployed as a right-back, Djene Dakonam has emerged as one of the most influential Getafe players in the 2017/18 season. His road to prominence was a long one, however, and Djene had to bide his time in order to be recognized for quality he undoubtedly possesses. Dapaong-born Togolese international, Djene Dakonam made his first football steps as a youth member of Etoile Filante.
Spells in Benin and Cameroon with Tonnerre d’Abomey and Coton Sport, respectively, saw Djene Dakonam grab attention of Alcoron, who moved in to bring him to Spain in 2014. During two years in Spain Djene Dakonam made 59 league appearances before moving to Sint-Truidense. It was in Belgium that Djene Dakonam proved his defensive versatility and Getafe came calling the very next year, in 2017.
Djene proved to be an instant hit with the Azulones and is hoping a move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs will not be too far away for him. The likes of Arsenal and Tottenham have been sniffing around him during the summer transfer window in 2018 but were ultimately scared off by his £31 million release clause.

Granada are an Andalusian football club that plays in Spanish La Liga. The club were founded on 14 April, 1931 and they have yet to win the Primera Division trophy. El Grana, though, booked their place in the Spanish Cup final in 1959, but Barcelona proved to be a big catch for the Andalusian outfit.
Granada host their rivals at Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes, the stadium that was built in 1995. The capacity of the stadium is 23,934. Granada’s main rivals are fellow Andalusian team Sevilla, but Real Betis are regarded as the club’s bitter rivals as well.
The likes of Yacine Brahimi, Juan Aguero, Gustavo Benitez, Pahinho, Denis Milar, Julio Montero Castillo, Capi, Cesar and Jose Mingorance are famous players that were part of the Estadio El Sadar outfit in the past. The original colour of Granada’s kits were blue and white, but after the Spanish Civil War the club chiefs bought new ones (red and white).
