Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
After surviving CE Europa in the Copa del Rey last 64, Las Palmas will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they face Real Valladolid on Matchday 16. La Union Deportiva did well to shock Barcelona in their last league match, meaning that they are brimming with confidence ahead of the visit of La Pucela. Summer signing Oliver McBurnie should keep his place in the starting eleven after scoring a brace in the Spanish Cup triumph, while Benito Ramirez is a major doubt after limping off with injury against CE Europa.
Real Valladolid, on the other hand, eliminating lower-league side Real Avila in the Copa del Rey last 64 after extra-time, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry at Estadio de Gran Canaria. As Las Palmas have found their best form of late, we predict that the visitors are going to return home with their hands empty. Midfielder Kike Perez is banned for the visiting side.
