Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Mallorca will be aiming to make amends for a heavy 6-1 loss to Real Madrid when they take on Osasuna in the La Liga round 7. Los Bermellones continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels. Mallorca have yet to suffer a loss on home soil this season, and they are surely capable of matching Osasuna at their Visit Mallorca Estadi. The bad news for the hosts is that Japan international Kubo has joined Maffeo, Russo, Raillo, and Rodriguez in the recovery room.
Los Rojillos, on the other hand, head into the match following a 3-1 loss to Real Betis. Osasuna are determined to grab something from the match, and seeing that the two teams seem to be evenly matched at the moment, we are tempted to put our money on draw. Midfielder Enrique Barja should be the only absentee in the away team.
Highlighted Player (Aleksandar Trajkovski):
Aleksandar Trajkovski is a Macedonian international who played for Cementarnica 55 during his youth career. He made 11 league appearances for the club at senior level as well and in 2010 he moved to Croatian team Inter Zapresic.
The attacking midfielder failed to prove his worth in the 2010/2011 season and, as a result, he was sold to Zulte Waregem in the summer of 2011. He played an important role in the Belgian team from 2011 to 2015 as he scored 11 goals in 83 league appearances for the club. It has to be noted, though, that Trajkovski spend the 2013/2014 season on loan at Mechelen. In 2015 he was named Macedonian Footballer of the Year and the same year he signed a contract with Italian side Palermo.
Speaking of his international career, Aleksandar Trajkovski has 15 caps for Macedonia U21 and he made his debut for the senior team on 10 August, 2011 in a friendly against Azerbaijan.
Highlighted Team (Osasuna):
Osasuna are a Basque football team that plays in Spanish La Liga. Los Rojillos are based in Pamplona and and the club were founded in 1920. Estadio El Sadar has been the home of Osasuna since 1967 and the capacity of the stadium is 19,800.
The colour of Osasuna’s home kit is red, while the team’s shorts are navy blue. Los Rojillos dropped to the Segunda Division at the end of the 2013/2014 La Liga campaign, but they did not spend too many time in the Spanish second tier. The club returned to the elite division in 2016 after beating Girona in the play-offs.
Osasuna made it to the Spanish Copa del Rey final in 2005, but they eventually lost to Real Betis after extra time in the title game. The meaning of the word Osasuna is “health” in Basque and it is used in a sense of strength.
