Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Rayo Vallecano and Getafe go head to head at Campo de Futbol de Vallecas in a small Madrid derby on Matchday 5. Los Vallecanos have been having their ups and downs at the start of the season. Following back-to-back defeats to Sevilla and Real Sociedad, the newcomers rolled over Granada 4-0 on Matchday, with the team sharing the spoils with Levante in their last league game. Rayo produce much better showings at home than on the travels, and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at los Azulones.
Martin Merquelanz is out of contention after limping off with injury at the weekend. Getafe, on the other hand, made a slow start to the season, with the team losing each of their first four league fixtures. Los Azulones are low on spirits ahead of the local derby; therefore, we do not believe that they will grab something from the match. Midfielder Sabit Abdulai should be the only absentee in the away team.
