Real Madrid defeated Celta Vigo on Karim Benzema’s return from injury, with the team cementing top position in the standings.
The league leaders aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, and the bookies see them as favourites to win the small Madrid derby. Luka Jovic has joined the likes of Isco and Eden Hazard in the recovery room, but there are no suspended players in the home team. Getafe, on the other hand, picked up vital three points from the Mallorca game, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry at “Bernabeu”. On January 15, 2005 Benzema made his debut for the first team of Lyon that season but did not have much playing time.
