Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
After sharing the spoils with Mallorca in their last league match, Sevilla will look to return to winning ways in La Liga when they host Osasuna to their Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. Los Sevillanos aim to stay in the title race, and we are positive that they will adopt an attack-minded approach in Saturday’s clash. Erik Lamela should sneak into the starting XI after scoring the equalizer in the midweek draw, while important attacker Youssef En-Nesyri remains in the recovery room.
Los Rojillos, on the other hand, did well to hold Real Madrid to a goalless draw in their last league match. Osasuna are enjoying yet another successful season, but given Sevilla’s 100% home record, we predict that the visitors are going to return to Pamplona empty-handed. In their last meeting in the Spanish top flight los Sevillanos defeated los Rojillos 2-0. Both Aridane Hernandez and Jonas Ramalho should miss out with injuries for the visiting team.
Highlighted Player (Diego Carlos):
Diego Carlos Santos Silva is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Nantes as a defender. His main position is centre-back and his preferred foot is right. Diego Carlos began his youth career at America-SP and in 2010 he moved to Desportivo Brasil. After spending the 2012/2013 season on loan at Sao Paulo, the 185-cm-tall defender returned to Desportivo Brasil.
However, he made his first-team debut with Madureira during his spell with the club (2014). In 2014 Diego Carlos signed a contract with Portuguese club Estoril Praia and he scored two goals in 39 appearances for the Primeira Liga club. It has to be noted, though, that he played for Porto B (on loan) in the 2014/2015 season.
Diego Carlos moved to French club Nantes in the summer of 2016 and you should bear in mind that he quickly established himself as a first-team regular with les Canaris. The Brazilian footballer scored two goals in 34 appearances for Nantes in the 2016/2017 Ligue 1 campaign. His contract with the Ligue 1 side expires on June 20, 2021.
Highlighted Team (Osasuna):
Osasuna are a Basque football team that plays in Spanish La Liga. Los Rojillos are based in Pamplona and and the club were founded in 1920. Estadio El Sadar has been the home of Osasuna since 1967 and the capacity of the stadium is 19,800.
The colour of Osasuna’s home kit is red, while the team’s shorts are navy blue. Los Rojillos dropped to the Segunda Division at the end of the 2013/2014 La Liga campaign, but they did not spend too many time in the Spanish second tier. The club returned to the elite division in 2016 after beating Girona in the play-offs.
Osasuna made it to the Spanish Copa del Rey final in 2005, but they eventually lost to Real Betis after extra time in the title game. The meaning of the word Osasuna is “health” in Basque and it is used in a sense of strength.
