Elche
Following back-to-back wins over Real Valladolid and Atletico Madrid, Villarreal shared the spoils with Getafe in their last league match. The Yellow Submarine have yet to concede in the new La Liga campaign, and they are likely to rely on their rock-solid defence against los Franjiverdes. Both Juan Foyth and Alberto Moreno are sidelined with injuries, but there are no fresh selection worries in the home team.
Elche, on the other hand, collected only one point in total from the first three games of the season. Francisco’s men obviously struggle in front of goal, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Villarreal’s party at Estadi Ciutat de Valencia. Both Fidel and Gonzalo Verdu are out of contention with injuries, but they should be the only absentees in the away team ahead of the trip to Castellon.

Aissa Mandi is a product of Reims’ youth school. After playing eight matches for Reims II in the 2009/2010 season, he started playing for the first team in 2010. Mandi made his Reims debut against Le Havre on 20 August, 2010 and he remained at Stade Auguste Delaune until 30 June, 2016, when he decided to join Spanish side Real Betis.
The Algeria international, who was born in Chalons-en-Champagne, France, signed a five-year contract with los Beticos which expires on 30 June, 2021. His main position is centre back, but he is capable of playing as a full back as well. The right-footed defender made his Algeria debut on 5 March, 2014 and he helped the Algerian national team keep a clean sheet in a 2-0 win over Slovenia.
Mandi impressed at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, but he scored his first goal for Algeria in a 3-3 draw with Ethiopia in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. He represented Algeria at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations as well.

Established in 1923, Elche is a Spanish club that competes in La Liga. Los Franjiverdes welcome their rivals at Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero, the stadium which can hold up to 33,732 spectators. The venue was opened on September 8, 1976.
Elche wear white shirts with green stripe and white shorts when playing at home, while black is the dominant colour of their away jersey. The club’s biggest success came in 1969 as Elche made it to the Copa del rey final. Los Franjiverdes faced Club Atletico de Bilbao in the Spanish Cup final, with the Basques winning the match by one goal to nil.
