Pittodrie Stadium will host Saturday’s football match between Aberdeen and Hamilton. The Dons have been struggling on the travels of late, with the team suffering back-to-back defeats to Celtic in Glasgow, but they did well to beat Kilmarnock in their last home game. Aberdeen aim to regain their spot in top three, and we are positive that they will adopt an attack-minded approach in Saturday’s football match.
The Accies, on the other hand, are stuck at the bottom of the table, and given their display in a 2-0 loss to Hibernian, we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Aberdeen’s party at Pittodrie Stadium. In their last meeting at the venue Aberdeen rolled over Hamilton 4-2, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the hosts. You should bear in mind that the Dons are after their tenth home win of the process.
Highlighted Player (Funso Ojo ):
Funso Ojo is a Belgium international who plays for Aberdeen as a midfielder. Ojo was born in Antwerp on August 28, 1991, starting his youth career at Olse Merksem. In 2004 he was spotted by PSV scouts, moving to Eindhoven very soon.
Funso Ojo made 11 appearances for PSV in the Dutch Eredivisie before moving to Beerschot AC, yet another club from his youth career. The Belgium international played for the likes of Royal Antwerp, Dordrecht, Willem II, and Scunthorpe United before signing a deal with Aberdeen in 2019. Funso Ojo made his Scotland Premiership debut in a 3-2 win over Hearts.
Speaking of his international career, Ojo has one cap with the Belgium U21 team, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the Belgium senior team. His primary position is central midfield, but he is capable of producing fine displays as a defensive midfielder. As his parents are of Nigeria descent, the Aberdeen footballer has a dual citizenship.

Nicknamed the Accies, Hamilton are the Scottish Premier League club founded back in 1874. Hamilton’s home ground is New Douglas Park, the venue which was opened in 2001. The capacity of the stadium is only 6,018. The Accies clinched their first domestic trophy in the 1985/86 season, with the team finishing the process eleven points clear of second-placed Falkirk.
Two seasons later, Hamilton repeated the success, with the team clinching their third and last Scotland Premier League trophy in the 2007/2008 season. The Accies wear white shirts with red stripes when playing at home ground, while blue and green are the dominant colours of their away kit. Fellow clubs based in Lanarkshire, Motherwell, and Albion Rovers, are considered the club’s main rivals.
Speaking of the club’s biggest win, you should bear in mind that Hamilton outclassed Morton 10-0 in May 2014. Crystal Palace midfielder James McCarthy is considered one of the most notable footballers who started their senior career at Hamilton.
