Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
Buoyed by a hard-fought 1-0 win over Dundee United, Celtic will be aiming to melt Rangers’ advantage in the Premiership standings when they host Motherwell at their Celtic Park. The Hoops quickly bounced back from a draw with Kilmarnock, but they need to keep on improving their game if they are to defend their trophy. Over the years Neil Lennon’s men have turned their Celtic Park into a real fortress, and even though the match will be played behind closed doors, home win should be considered.
The Well, on the other hand, have been struggling in front of goal of late, and they are unlikely to spoil Celtic’s party in Glasgow. In their last meeting in the national championship Celtic outclassed Motherwell 4-0, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the title holders this time out.
