Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
Kilmarnock and Motherwell face each other at Rugby Park in the Scotland Premiership round 32. The Killie do not seem to be at their sharpest, with the team failed to win the previous ten league fixtures. Kilmarnock are eager to give fans some cheer, and we are positive that they will fight tooth and nail against Motherwell. The Well, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Hibernian (2-0) and Livingston (3-1).
Graham Alexander’s men aim to move closer to the Championship group places, and given Kilmarnock’s current form, we believe that punters can find value in betting on the visiting team. In their last meeting in the Scotland Premier League Motherwell defeated Kilmarnock 1-0, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the visiting team this time out. A man to watch in the away team will be Devante Cole, who has found his goalscoring touch of late.
Highlighted Player (Stuart Findlay):
Stuart Findlay is a Scottish footballer who plays for Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premier League. Born on September 14, 1995, Findlay is a product of the Celtic football school. However, despite spending his youth career at Celtic Park, the Scottish footballer did not see any game action with the Hoops at the senior level.
After ending his loan spells with Greenock Morton, Dumbarton, and Kilmarnock, Stuart Findlay signing a deal with EPL side Newcastle United in the summer of 2016. He made his debut for the Magpies in the FA Cup game against Birmingham City on January 18, 2017.
One year later, he decided to return to Kilmarnock, signing a loan deal with Rugby Park outfit. In July 2018, he joined the Killie permanently. Speaking of his international career, Findlay scored on his debut for the Scotland national team in a 6-0 win over San Marino on October 13, 2019.
Highlighted Team (Motherwell):
Motherwell are professional football club that compete in the Scotland Premiership. The Steelmen play home games at Fir Park, the stadium which can hold up to 13,677 spectators, wearing amber and claret shirts.
White, on the other hand, is the dominant colour of the club’s away kit. Founded in 1886, Motherwell won their first domestic trophy in the 1931/32 season, leaving Scottish giants Rangers and Celtic behind them in the standings. Speaking of the Scottish Cup, the Steelmen have two titles in the cup competition. In the 1951/52 season, Motherwell defeated Dundee 4-0 in the Scottish Cup final, with the team repeating the success 39 years later as they outplayed Dundee United 4-3 in the title game.
The likes of Hamilton Academical and Airdrieonians are regarded as the club’s bitterest rivals. The games between these clubs are known as the Lanarkshire derby. Hughie Ferguson is leading the club’s all-time goal-scoring chart as he netted 284 goals for the Steelmen in league matches.
