Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
Motherwell and Livingston square off against each other at Fir Park in the Premierhsip round 31. The Well did well to beat Hibernian on the road in their last league match, with the team putting an end to their three-match winless run. The triumph gave them a confidence boost, but the game against Livingston will be anything but a walk in the park for the home team. Since Motherwell’s recovery room is pretty full, we are not tempted to put our money on the hosts.
The Lions, on the other hand, aim to make amends for the League Cup defeat to St Johnstone. Livingston suffered three defeats in the previous four league fixtures, but given the number of absentees in the home side, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the visiting team. All Sibbald, Forrest, and Reilly are pushing for a start.
Highlighted Player (Allan Campbell):
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, on July 4, 1998, Allan Campbell is a Scottish footballer who plays for Motherwell. Campbell has been playing for the Steelmen since 2008 when he was a part of the Motherwell youth team.
The Scottish midfielder made his Premier League debut on October 29, 2016, in a 4-1 win over Ross County, and he scored his first goal in the Scottish top flight in a 4-2 victory over Inverness on April 15, 2017. Allan Campbell has 19 caps for the Scotland U21 team, but he has yet to receive a call-up for the Scotland senior team. His primary position is a defensive midfielder, but he is used as a central midfielder as well.
The Scottish footballer wears the number 6 shirt at Motherwell. In his youth days, Allan Campbell attended All Saints Roman Catholic Secondary School in Glasgow. He joined Motherwell football academy at the age of 10.
Highlighted Team (Livingston):
Nicknamed the Lions, Livingstone are the Scottish Premier League club founded during the Second World War (1943) under the name of Ferranti Amateurs. Livingston welcome their opponents at Almondvale Stadium, the venue with the capacity of 9,512.
The Lions are known for their amber home kit, with the team wearing white when playing on the travels. Livingston have yet to win the Scottish Premier League title, but they did remarkably well to go all the way in the Scottish League Cup in the 2003/2004 season. The Lions recorded a 2-0 win over Hibernian in the title game played at Hampden Park in Glasgow.
Livingston registered their biggest win against Stranraer (8-0) in August 2012 in the first round of the Scottish League Cup, while their most massive defeat came on December 14, 1974, as they were beaten 8-0 by Hamilton. Legendary Premier League coach Paul Lambert is regarded as one of the club’s most notable players.
