Girona
All eyes will be on Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos when Almeria and Girona face each other in the Segunda Division round 33. Almeria aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Tenerife, but keep in mind that top scorer Umar Sadiq is on international duty with Nigeria. In his absence, Largie Ramazani, who scored the winner at the weekend, will be the man to watch in the home side.
The Catalans, on the other hand, rolled over Ibiza 5-1 to remain in the playoffs berth. Girona, though, are not regarded as good travelers, which is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on draw. It has to be noted that Girona boss Michel will watch the game from the stands as he was sent off in the crushing of Ibiza. Uruguay international Stuani is widely expected to lead the line for the visitors.

Curro Sanchez is a Spanish footballer who plays for Ponferradina in Segunda Division. Born in La Palma del Condado on January 3, 1996, Sanchez began his youth career at Siempre Alegres, but in 2007 he was spotted by Sevilla scouts.
Curro Sanchez did not hesitate at all, signing a contract with the famous La Liga side. To make things even better for the Andalusian, he made his senior debut with Sevilla in La liga on May 4, 2016 in a 1-1 draw with Deportivo La Coruna. Curro Sanchez then joined Numancia, where he scored 13 goals in 34 appearances in Segunda Division for los Numantinos.
In 2020 he signed a deal with La Liga 2 side Ponferradina. Sanchez made his la Ponfe debut in a 2-0 win over Albacete on September 20, 2020. Even though right winger is his primary position, Curro Sanchez is capable of producing fine performances as an attacking midfielder as well.

After several unsuccessful attempts, finally secured promotion to Primera Division at the end of the 2016/2017 season. The Catalan outfit finished the campaign in second place in the standings, 14 points behind Levante and only two clear of third-placed Getafe. Girona play their home games at Montilivi and the capacity of the venue is 9.286.
Speaking of the club history, Girona were founded in the café Norat in La Rambla of Girona on July 23, 1930 and they played their first official game against Colonia Artigas. A number of Spanish coaches were in charge of the team in the past, but it has to be noted that Uruguayan tactician Dagoberto Moll (1965/1966) and Karoly Plattko (1948/1949) of Hungary were in charge of the club as well.
