Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Sporting Gijon will look to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Albacete when they take on Mirandes in the La Liga 2 round 31. Los Rojilblancos continue with their old habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, but, as things stand now, they will find it hard to book their spot in the playoffs. Defender Alex Bamba remains in the recovery room, but he should be the only absentee in the home team.
Los Rojillos, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Real Oviedo, but given their three-game losing run on the road, we believe that there is a big value in betting on Sporting Gijon. Barring any fresh injury worries, boss Joseba Etxeberria is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated los Azules at the weekend. Goalkeeper Ramon Juan, though, remains in the treatment room.

Mirandes is a Spanish club founded on May 3, 1927. Los Rojillos compete in Segunda division, with the team still eyeing their first ever promotion to La Liga. Mirandes’ home colours are red and black, while their away kit is mainly light blue.
Mirandes did remarkably well to make it to the Copa del Rey semis in the 2019/20 season, with the team outplaying the likes of Celta, Villarreal, and Sevilla in the process. Real Sociedad, though, proved to be a big catch for Mirandes in the Spanish Cup semis. Los Rojillos welcome their rivals at Estadio Municipal de Anduva. The stadium was opened back in 1950, with the venue being able to host 5,759 spectators.
Mirandes played their first game on June 4, 1927, with the team defeating Arabarra thanks to Fidel Angulo’s goal. Zaragoza and Alaves are considered one of the club’s main rivals. Los Rojillos have won Castilla and Leon Cup on two occasions (2011, 2012).
