Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Estadio Municipal de Butarque will host Sunday’s football game between Leganes and Mirandes. The capital club aim to extend their winning run at home to three matches, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at Mirandes on Matchday 10. Leganes suffered a 1-0 loss at Sabadell in midweek, but they are surely capable of beating los Rojillos in the suburbs of Madrid.
Mirandes, on the other hand, did well to beat struggling Segunda Division giants Zaragoza on Thursday evening thanks to Ezzarfani’s late goal, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry in the Estadio Municipal de Butarque showdown. In the previous two meetings between the two clubs in La Liga 2 Leganes emerged triumphant, and we predict that the history is going to repeat itself. Keep in mind that this will be their first encounter since June 2016.
Highlighted Player (Rubén Pérez):

Rubén Pérez is a Spanish footballer who was born in Ecija on April 26, 1989. The 178-cm tall midfielder is a product of Atletico Madrid youth academy, but he made no more than one appearance in La Liga for los Rojiblancos. Ruben Perez, though, played 53 games for Atletico Madrid B before joining Deportivo La Coruna on loan.
The Spanish footballer spent some time on loan at Getafe, Real Betis, Elche and Torino as well before joining Granada in 2015. After making 31 appearances for the Andalusian side from 2015 to 2018, Ruben Perez joined Leganes on loan in 2016.
In 2018 he signed a permanent deal with Leganes and he has been playing for the capital club ever since. His main position is defensive midfielder, but he is capable of playing as a central midfielder as well. Ruben Perez has 5 caps for Spain U21 team, but he has yet to receive a call-up for the senior squad.
Highlighted Team (Mirandes):

Mirandes is a Spanish club founded on May 3, 1927. Los Rojillos compete in Segunda division, with the team still eyeing their first ever promotion to La Liga. Mirandes’ home colours are red and black, while their away kit is mainly light blue.
Mirandes did remarkably well to make it to the Copa del Rey semis in the 2019/20 season, with the team outplaying the likes of Celta, Villarreal, and Sevilla in the process. Real Sociedad, though, proved to be a big catch for Mirandes in the Spanish Cup semis. Los Rojillos welcome their rivals at Estadio Municipal de Anduva. The stadium was opened back in 1950, with the venue being able to host 5,759 spectators.
Mirandes played their first game on June 4, 1927, with the team defeating Arabarra thanks to Fidel Angulo’s goal. Zaragoza and Alaves are considered one of the club’s main rivals. Los Rojillos have won Castilla and Leon Cup on two occasions (2011, 2012).
