Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Buoyed by a 3-1 win over Amorebieta, Lugo will look to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they host Eibar to their Estadio Anxo Carro on Sunday. Lugo quickly bounced back from a 2-1 loss to Ponferradina, with the team moving away from the relegation zone, but they need to keep on making progress if they are to avoid relegation to Segunda B. Carillo, who has found his goal-scoring touch of late, is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts.
Los Armeros, on the other hand, aim to retain second position in the standings. The Basques did well to beat Alcorcon 2-1 in their last league match, and given their attacking potential, we believe that both teams to score betting option should be considered. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be summer signing Stoichkov, who scored his 8th goal of the season at the weekend.
