Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Lugo play host to Ponferradina at their Estadio Anxo Carro on day 15 of the new Segunda Division campaign. Lugo continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, and they are undefeated in the previous five home fixtures in the Spanish second tier. Joselu, who found the net in a 3-2 loss at Mirandes, is widely expected to return to the starting XI.
La Ponfe, on the other hand, head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Huesca. Ponferradina have been playing some low-scoring games of late, and seeing that there have been under 2.5 goals in seven of Lugo’s last eight league fixtures, we are unlikely to see goals galore at Estadio Anxo Carro. The bad news for the visiting side is that important defender Jose Manuel Arias Copete misses the match through suspension.
Highlighted Player (Manu Barreiro):
Manu Barreiro is a professional player who was born on 8 July, 1986 in Compostela, Spain. Barreiro is a product of Real Madrid youth school, but he played for Valencia during his youth career as well. He made three appearances for Valencia B, but in 2005 he joined Lalin.

He scored 11 goals for the club in the 2014/2015 campaign and he netted five goals in 32 appearances for El Glorioso in the 2015/2016 Segunda Division campaign, helping the team secure promotion to La Liga.
Manu Barreiro won Segunda Division B with Cadiz in the 2008/2009 season. Manu Barreiro is a centre forward, but he is capable of playing as a left winger as well. His contract with Alaves expires on 30 June, 2017.
