Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Estadio La Rosaleda will host Sunday’s football game between Malaga and Amorebieta, the two teams who meet for the first time ever in Segunda Division. Malaga continue with their old habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, with the team eyeing their fifth consecutive win in front of home fans. Amorebieta, on the other hand, are stuck in the relegation zone, with the team failing to win the previous four league fixtures.
The Basques are low on spirits ahead of the trip to Andalusia, and given Malaga’s brilliant home record, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of grabbing something from the match. Talented attacker Roberto Fernandez Jaen should continue to lead the line for the hosts after the 19-year-old managed to find the net in the Copa del Rey win over Pena (0-3).
Highlighted Player (David Lomban):
David Lomban was born in Aviles, Asturias on 5 June, 1987 and he began his senior career at Valencia. The 185-cm-tall defender played 37 matches for Valencia B and he made no more than three appearances for the first team. After spending the 2009/2010 season on loan at Salamanca, he joined Xerez in 2010 and two years later he signed for Barcelona B.
David Lomban played just one season for the Catalan outfit in Segunda Division and then he decided to take a bigger step towards a brighter future as he joined La Liga side Elche. After making 62 appearances for the club, he signed a three-year contract with Granada on 10 August, 2015. Lomban played 31 games for los Granadinos in the 2015/2016 La Liga campaign, but he failed to find the net for the Andalusian outfit in the top flight.
David Lomban’s contract with Granada expires on 30 June, 2018. Speaking of his international career, the Granada defender has 11 caps for Spain U17 and he played one match for Spain U20 team as well.
