Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Buoyed by a 2-0 win over Tenerife, Malaga will be aiming to secure the La Liga 2 survival when they take on Burgos on the penultimate day of the season. Los Boquerones proved their worth in the triumph over los Insulares, and they now have a chance to avoid relegation with a win over Burgos. Both Jozabed Sanchez and Hicham Boussefiane are sidelined with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
Los Blanquinegros, on the other hand, have nothing to play for in the season finale as they are stuck in the middle of the table. Since Burgos are on a four-match winless run in Segunda Division, we are tempted to put our money on the relegation-threatened hosts. There are no fresh injury worries in the away side, but all Munoz, Gomez, and Alarcon are pushing for a start.
Highlighted Player (David Lomban):
David Lomban was born in Aviles, Asturias on 5 June, 1987 and he began his senior career at Valencia. The 185-cm-tall defender played 37 matches for Valencia B and he made no more than three appearances for the first team. After spending the 2009/2010 season on loan at Salamanca, he joined Xerez in 2010 and two years later he signed for Barcelona B.
David Lomban played just one season for the Catalan outfit in Segunda Division and then he decided to take a bigger step towards a brighter future as he joined La Liga side Elche. After making 62 appearances for the club, he signed a three-year contract with Granada on 10 August, 2015. Lomban played 31 games for los Granadinos in the 2015/2016 La Liga campaign, but he failed to find the net for the Andalusian outfit in the top flight.
David Lomban’s contract with Granada expires on 30 June, 2018. Speaking of his international career, the Granada defender has 11 caps for Spain U17 and he played one match for Spain U20 team as well.
